HVAC ads
HVAC ads split in two. A $59 tune-up is a way to get the truck in the driveway. A replacement estimate is a different lead and should not be judged with the same cost per lead. The Google figure on this site blends air conditioning and heating medians. Your books should not.
Write down two tickets before you buy: the cash you actually collect on a tune-up visit, and the average replacement. The ad can say $59 while the visit collects more in filters, capacitors, and the maintenance plan. Put the real average in the calculator. A tune-up that loses money on the day can still be worth it if the plan or the change-out is real. If those never happen, the tune-up is just a cheap lead that isn’t cheap.
